Shark Details
This beautiful shark was probably a female as when we approached it with the Manx Basking Shark Watch research boat 'Happy Jack' it veered gently away from us. We don't know the gender for certain as the underwater pole camera flooded on its first immersion the season!. The shark was about as long as the boat (6 m) and had very few identifying marks on the fin.
