Shark Details
Another smaller shark nearby. The larger came to us and circled before thrashing on the surface and swimming off. Note from Jackie Hall: Goodness me! I wonder did it have a large white patch patch on its nose? This normally occurs in large males. The MBSW research boat has observed this behaviour in some large males. I guess that it may be territorial behaviour.
