Shark Details
Another smaller shark nearby. The larger came to us and circled before thrashing on the surface and swimming off. Note from Jackie Hall: Goodness me! The MBSW boat has observed that behaviour from large male basking sharks. You can normally identify a male because the mature males almost always have large red and white rub marks on their noses. I guess that this is territorial behaviour.
