Note from Jackie Hall: Lara from the WLT sent me a message from Derek Neild. Thank you Lara!
Derek spotted a basking shark about half mile off White Strand just north of Peel whilst he was kayaking with his son Ryan it moved up and down about 1/4 mile each way then vanished.
